The 7.5 L figure is measured at 20 °C / 60 % RH, not at the 30 °C / 80 % RH point compressor brands use for headlines. That cooler test point, combined with a 1 °C operating floor, is why the DD1 belongs in a cold utility, porch or unheated room where a 12 L compressor would be mostly a fan.

A 20 L compressor sold as the damp-house and indoor-washing machine. The tank holds 5.5 litres, and there is a one-button laundry mode. The 20 L headline is still a laboratory maximum.
